Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Mary H. Rubin lived all across the country before settling in Hagerstown, Maryland where she has lived for the past 22 years. Her love of books and writing led to her two current titles devoted to the history of Hagerstown and Washington County, both published by Arcadia Publishing. The books, part of Arcadia's Images of America series, give a history of the area through very old photos. She is now hard at work on two more titles devoted to the history of region.
Mary received her Bachelor's degree from Hood College in Frederick, Maryland and her MBA from Frostburg University. Among her many interests, her most important are reading, traveling, swimming and doing jigsaw puzzles.
